Couric interview will be easy because she's a woman?

I heard today that Rick Davis, McCain campaign chief, is saying they thought Palin's now infamous interview with Katie Couric would be fairly easy because the interviewer was a woman too. Ok, so Davis and company are sexist. But my other thought was this: if I wanted someone who wasn't going to pull any punches with a woman, especially a woman who many people said was very attractive like Sarah Palin, I'd look for... ANOTHER WOMAN. Duh! Guys are much more likely to fall for their almost instinctive habit of taking it easy on a woman, moreso if she's pretty. Another woman isn't going to fall for that crap though. Send in a female interviewer though and she'll come out swinging.

NBC calls Indiana for Obama!

That's right. It looks like for the first time in 44 years, Indiana has voted for a Democratic candidate for President. What a historic time to do it!

Yes we did!

Tonight has truly been a historic moment, a defining moment, for this country. We'll tell our children and our grandchildren about it. It is our time. Let's make the most of it.

Don't boo, just vote!

As John McCain's campaign has grown increasingly negative in the final weeks and days, as rallies have become increasingly hostile, Barack Obama's message of unity has presented a sharp contrast. At many rallies like this one, when his supporters so much as boo at the mention of his opponent, Obama's message is this: We don't need that. Don't boo. Just vote!
