Remember this?

I found this page linked in a Totalfarker named Bandy's profile. The pictures remind us of all the goodwill and sympathy across the world for the United States following the 9-11 attacks. Football players in Germany refused to play that day. People from Russia to Bangladesh to Italy and even some Palestinians in East Jerusalem are shown expressing their sympathies for America.

It's been over five years since then and such feelings don't last forever. Yet I can't help believing that we've also squandered this goodwill due to our administration's bullheaded, go-it-alone international policy, and most notably the war in Iraq.
