Virginia Tech - Focus on victims, not shooter

In the aftermath of the massacre at Virginia Tech, one of the things that's bothering me is how the major news media keeps putting the shooter on the front page. Pictures and quotes from his "manifesto" and his atrociously written plays feature prominently in the top headlines across the country.

They're given this sick man what he wanted: attention. I worry that this type of coverage serves as nothing but inspiration for other disturbed and potentially violent individuals.

Take the shooter off the front pages. Put the victims there instead. They're the people we should remember.
