She's playing for the wrong team

I'm frustrated to see Hillary Clinton's campaign try to inflame class tensions among Democratic voters. One of her aides referred to Obama voters as the "latte-sipping" crowd and they keep belittling the states Obama wins. Nevermind that's he won about 2/3rds of the states and in all geographic regions, but many of them are in middle America and that's what her campaign is mocking. The "latte-sipping" comment sounds just like right wing claims that the Democratic party is the party of the "liberal elite".

How does Clinton think these divisive attacks are appropriate? Is she running as the Republican candidate now?

She certainly seems willing to tear the Democratic party apart in her attempts to get the nomination. The divide encouraged by the above comments is nothing compared to what will happen if she manages to get the nomination even with Obama winning the pledged delegate count.
