piss off, modern art

Sponsors of the UK's leading modern arts prize, the Turner prize, did a poll recently asking art figures what the most influential piece of modern art was. They chose Marcel Duchamp's piece "Fountain", quite literally a urinal, over work by such greats as Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol. For the full article, check the bottom of the page here.

Art expert Simon Wilson seems to think the choice a bit odd, then curiously tries to defend the porcelain piece. Later Mr. Wilson was heard wondering why more people don't take modern art seriously... :p
